We shine the spotlight on the Malaysian models who walked the recent SS17 fashion week runways at New York, London, Milan and Paris

Atikah Karim (@tiksg)

No stranger to the international runway, this New York-based Bajau-Bruneian beauty has modelled for the likes of Polo Ralph Lauren and Banana Republic. Her beautiful, exotic look marked by sharp features and tanned skin scored her shows in New York and Milan this season.

Soraya Jansen (@malaysiatrulyasia94)

When she isn't modelling, Soraya channels her creativity into fine art photography—she studies art in London. Half German, half Malaysian, she rocks an edgy short fringed do that really sets her apart from the pack.

Kea Lee (@kinkipoo)

Also based in London is Kea Lee (pronounced key-ae), who represented Malaysia in the 5th season of SupermodelMe back in 2014. She may not have won the competition, but we'd say she's doing pretty well, having bagged a few shows at the recent London Fashion Week.

Angie Ng Chin Li (@angiengcl)

Here is another model rocking the short hair with bangs look—meet Angie Ng. She may only be in her late 20s, but the 6-foot-tall beauty has already been in the industry for almost a decade. Angie just made her Milan Fashion Week debut this season, walking a whopping total of eight shows. Fun fact: she is a cousin of Friend of Buro Sarah Lian!
