Designer bottle: evian® x Christian Lacroix
Back in 2007, eyebrows were raised when Christian Lacroix became the first couturier to decorate a bottle of evian® water. Little did everyone know, the project was the start of successful collaborations including Jean Paul Gaultier, Kenzo and Alexander Wang.
Fast-forward to 10 years later, the premium mineral water brand teams up with the House of Christian Lacroix once again to celebrate its 10-year milestone. "The evian® x Lacroix collaboration is just like a wonderful dream come true and we had the chance to collaborate twice, which makes me a very lucky designer!" Sacha Walckhoff, creative director for the House of Christian Lacroix said. "We really enjoyed working with the creative teams at evian®. evian® has always been a part of my life and both brands have so much in common that it makes it very easy to work together," Walckhoff enthused.
This time, the House pays homage to evian®'s Live Young spirit by giving the iconic Paseo pattern a fresh new take. First used for the first time outside the haute couturier's fashion collections on the initial evian® limited edition bottle a decade ago, the delicate embroidery design is reinvented and dressed in two unique Christian Laxroix colours, pink and blue. The refreshed version reflect the pure expression of the House's creative universe—flamboyant, Parisian and youthful.
The Limited Edition evian® x Christian Lacroix bottle is will be available for purchase at selected premium supermarkets, hotels, restaurants and retailers at RM21.90 from December 2016 onwards
