All-black ensembles that were both sultry and edgy dominated the red carpet last night.
Last night at the 2017 American Music Awards saw one of America's most popular and sucessful singers of all time receiving an accolade that was a long time coming: The legendary Diana Ross took home the Lifetime Achievement Award, presented by her daughter Tracee Ellis Ross on stage at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
While that swamped the headlines—along with Ross' performance that had all her boundaring-busting hits, worth mentioning is the celebrities' red carpet game during the arrivals. Black was the theme of the night, with A-listers donning a variety of outfits that ranged from badas* to feminine. Celebs who repped the former include Selena Gomez in Coach (she also debuted her new blonde 'do), Hailee Steinfeld in Mugler and Ciara in Alexandre Vauthier; while Demi Lovato and Kelly Rowland showed up in girly gowns worthy of a double take.
