PFW SS16: Kenzo

There’s always something anew about Kenzo’s show sets—this year, an architectural feature of white arches took to the presentation, and models travelled on platform blocks that glided through the arches before they descended to walk the runway.

Humberto Leon and Carol Lim incorporated what they do best—prints—with fresh shapes and cuts, creating an exciting, eclectic collection: cropped tanks with angular hems paired with low-slung midi skirts in matching mixed prints, bodysuits with laser cutouts worn open and untucked over skirts and pants, and flowing dresses with deep V necklines and lush ruffles.

Gladiator sandals with reflexology footbeds and thigh-high cuts look edgy and perfect for the girl on the go, along with the chic rendition of waist pouches—little purses in different shapes on belts for a stylish, utilitarian flair.
