NYFW SS16: Diesel Black Gold

Diesel Black Gold designer Andreas Melbostad envisioned his Spring collection for the girl who wears her boyfriend’s button-down shirt like a dress, and throws a cool jacket over it; a fresh deviation for the denim and leather brand.

Lace, stripes, textures and geometric motifs were prominent throughout the collection, impeccably worked into leather looks and shirt dresses. A white boxy shirt top paired with edgy leather dungarees made for a bold, standout ensemble.

Aside from flashes of blue, the runway was dominated by covetable monochromatic hues—a classic palette that goes perfectly with the collection’s tough-girl tone.
