LOOKBOOK: Versace Pre-Fall 2022 Collection

Alongside their colossal Fendace collection for the coming pre-fall season, Versace just launched a bold, black and white print-heavy collection for both menswear and womenswear, in manifestation of house’s iconic Barocco motif. “Whoever said that it cannot be black AND white? I see creativity as an opportunity and a way of looking at things you have known all of your life in a different way, from another perspective and transform them into something new that, like a scent reminds you of emotions past, but are now connected to something completely rooted in the present moment,” said Donatella Versace of her latest line-up. Across fitted suits and loose silhouettes, Versace acanthus leaves flourish across the men’s collection in both monochrome and a new silver, metallic coating that presents itself like shining armour––and alongside vibrant shades of blue, beige and fuchsia that point toward to start of something new. For women, Versace introduced a versatile mix of separates, dresses and tailoring heavily inspired by the styling of the early aughts and decked out in the brand's signature fun-mixing multicoloured prints.
