This season, creative director Louise Trotter blended androgyny with elements of feminine luxe, refining meek silhouettes and basic fabrics—think jersey, cotton poplins and viscose with unexpected twists, knots, bows and a blend of silk. Amongst the clean lines and tailoring of some pieces, asymmetry was a key feature of the collection, appearing on hemlines, cuts as well as harnesses that wrapped around dresses.
Breaking up the uniformity of fresh whites, blue and pencil stripes, Trotter incorporated a splash of colour with acid yellow and a lustrous touch of vintage brocade. Garments aside, footwear was kept to a minimal with crisp white sneakers and a handful of black sandals to keep the focus on the clothing.
