#ThrowbackThursday: Neelofa’s Milan photo diary
Milan Fashion Week may be over, but Neelofa's front-row appearance at the shows are still making waves. Although it was her first time attending the event in the Italian city this season, her style game was definitely still on point, and a scroll through her Instagram account will prove just that. Here, we take a look back at her journey in Milan, and specifically, her experience at the Salvatore Ferragamo Autumn/Winter 2019 show, where she rubbed shoulders with the stars of Stranger Things, namely Natalie Dyer, Charlie Heaton and Joe Keery.
On her first time at the Salvatore Ferragamo show
It's really an indescribable feeling. Seeing the pieces first hand, especially, was an exhilarating experience. From discussing the looks during the show to mentally picking out my favourites, it was really fun! Kudos to all the models and everyone behind the scenes who made the show a success, because without their hard work and determination, the show won't be a success.
On Salvatore Ferragamo's Autumn/Winter 2019 collection and her favourite looks this season
I think Paul Andrew did a great job by producing a collection that is really wearable yet interesting! For a classic brand like Ferragamo, he definitely added some fun this time around by playing with texture, colours and prints. As expected, for Autumn/Winter season, there were lots of coats, jackets, knits and pantsuits. My favorite pieces are definitely the leather outerwear—the bomber jacket and coats are on my wish-list.
On meeting the cast of Stranger Things
I was definitely star-struck! But they were really lovely and friendly, and we all shared our excitement for the show.
On her favourite moments during Milan Fashion Week
I love getting ready for the shows, especially how my team and I come together to discuss and decide on my looks. But aside from that, I also enjoy meeting people—be it fellow celebrities, the team behind the brand or the media—before the shows start. That's the reason why I always arrive at least half an hour early.
