Dior’s New (bag) Look

Dior’s new baby is testament to the vision of their creative director Raf Simons and the remarkable skill of the house of Dior’s ateliers. Inspired by sand dunes, the calfskin versions of the Dune bag has a finely embossed grain (like the grains of sand). A detachable crossbody strap makes it the perfect bag to be slung about during the day while the elegant tophandle allows you the versatility of transitioning to night. The Dune bag is available in either sand grain calfskin or a variety of exotics and showcases a variety of techniques such as embossing, marquetry, hand-painting and hand-spraying to mimic the way light reflects off the desert sand.
