Longchamp delves into urban nature for its Autumn/Winter 2016 collection
Longchamp ventures into the wild for its Autumn/Winter 2016 collection, reinventing the urban look with a touch of refinement for the lady who's got class running in her veins. A key feature of the collection is the reinterpreted chevron motif that's printed on calf fur, a symbol of the complexity of today's women who finds freedom within her life in the city. The colour palette reflects the sentiment as well, with wild colours, plants and graphites coalescing and metamorphosing into an urban jungle. Khaki accents are reminiscent of bark of trees, gray mottling reminds us of the concrete jungle, and zebra camel prints take on a wild yet exotic look. The brand's line of bags, Le Pliage Heritage Deluxe, celebrates this theme through three calf-fur models trimmed with smooth leather—perfectly complemented by a trio of stylish ankle boots in the same tonal hues as well.
