For your It-accessories wishlist: Chanel Coco Chain Eyewear collection
Revisiting the classics
If Willow Smith offered any hint of what Chanel's new Autumn/Winter 2016 eyewear collection would be like, let's just say that we'll be adding these into our accessory wishlist, stat.
Chanel recently introduced the Coco Chain eyewear collection with four new frames for sunglasses along with three new opticals frames. One distinctive feature of its latest collection is the iconic metal chain that's interlaced with leather for a rocker chic sentiment that's a refreshing change from its aesthetic. The chain now comes in single or multiple rows on the sunglasses' temples, and is available in gold, silver or ruthenium metal. Go with a retro touch with the cat eye frames that have chains embellished in two rows, similar to the square frames as well. Other models (excluding the pilot form) are encircled with acetate and a metal piece that highlights the brows. This season, the colour palette stays true to the classics such as violet, petrol, navy, and brown tortoiseshell. The feminine touches come from the iconic tone-on-tone double C that's placed on the chain, alongside iconic black, white burgundy and beige hues that make up the signature of the house. The optical line features the same hues and finishes as the sunglasses, with square, rectangular and pantos-shaped frames for a preppy chic attitude.
The Chanel Coco Chain eyewear collection will be available in Chanel boutiques from September 2016.
