The Museum of Ice Cream is where sweet dreams come true

If there’s one treat that gets people—young and old, in excitement, our vote goes to ice cream. Soothing to the soul and cooling to the senses, the sweet indulgence is also the main focus of the Museum of Ice Cream Los Angeles. The unique pop-up in a converted warehouse features a creative space boasting of everything sugary sweet with floral wallpaper, neon signs and art installations featuring all your favourite renditions of ice creams as well as toppings.

The Museum of Ice Cream is opening with 10 colourful installations that include a banana split made with over 10,000 “bananas”, a mint house and a melted popsicle jungle among others. There’s even a cotton candy claw machine and swing sets to complete your walk down memory lane.

One particular highlight of the Museum is the specially curated ‘swimming pool’ that is filled with millions of rainbow sprinkles and pool floats. Imagine diving into this!

The museum has been designed to heighten the ol’ factory and taste experience where scientists at the International Flavours & Fragrances have developed a range of ice cream inspired scents and flavours. So with that, you get to snap up 30 new ice cream products including custom sprinkles, scoopers and more. A selection of ‘scoop of the week’ ice cream from local creameries will also be offered throughout the duration of exhibition.

The Museum of Ice Cream opens from 22 April to 29 May 2017 at the Arts District in Los Angeles. More info here
