10-12 February, PUAS: Food. Music. Art Festival @ The Puteh at Subang
As its name suggests, PUAS 2017 aims to satisfy all your senses over a 3-day food, music and art festival. It’ll make quite the weekend outing, with 50 food trucks and restaurateurs, 22 local indie music acts, 15 art handcraft exhibitors, as well as urban art installations, workshops and gallery.

11 February, Journey Live in Malaysia @ Stadium Malawati, Shah Alam
Is ‘Don’t Stop Believin” your pick-me-up anthem? Catch the classic rock band Journey as they make a stop on Malaysian shores for their 2017 World Tour. Fronting the band is lead singer Arnel Pineda, with founding member and lead guitarist Neal Schon, and long-time members, bassist Ross Valory, drummer Steve Smith and keyboardist Jonathan Cain completing the line-up.

12 February, Serenade @ Petronas Philharmonic Hall
The bright young things of music in Malaysia, or better known as the Malaysian Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, presents two of the world’s most beloved serenades: Antonín Dvořák’s Serenade, one of his sunniest, most enjoyable compositions; and Tchaikovsky’s Serenade for Strings, a delightful tribute to Mozart.

17 February – 17 March 2017, Wong Hoy Cheong: ‘On Unlearning and Relearning’ @ OUR ArtProjects, The Zhongshan Building
This solo exhibition by Wong Hoy Cheong showcases four decades of his paper-based work. Although Wong is primarily known as a conceptual artist, the exhibition reveals another side of him through a body of work that were fundamental to the artist’s work process, on which he was able to build an interdisciplinary practice that spanned a wide range of artistic mediums.

What do family histories conceal and how are family myths constructed? How is literature crafted from an unraveling of these? 24 February, Upfront presents: Onra @ The Bee, Publika
Lauded for his worldly musical style, Parisian hip hop beatmaker Onra is best known for his ‘Chinoiseries’ collections, a series of tracks crafted with a combination of Chinese and Vietnamese samples, hip hop beats, and sounds from faraway places. DJ collective Public School, made up of Ruud and Renry Hollins, opens the night.
