Watch: Coldplay and Michael J. Fox play ‘Back to the Future’ songs onstage
A little bit of '80s
It was probably all Back to the Future and Coldplay fans' dream come true too. During the British pop-rock band's performance at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, frontman Martin's son Moses requested for the band to play a song from his and his dad's favourite movie—Back to the Future. Coldplay complied, starting with the classic "Earth Angel". Michael J. Fox was introduced as a pleasant surprise midway, and he made his way onstage with a brief guitar solo. Fox gently eases in, and looked right at home as they jammed to a second tune: Chuck Berry's 'Johnny B. Goode'.
