Cirque de la Symphonie: Where circus meets classical music

You will not want to sleep through this September, as the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO) kick starts the month with a musical extravaganza themed Cirque de la Symphonie. Performing alongside the wonderful MPO will be a line-up of incredibly talented artists, with aerial flyers, acrobats, contortionists, dancers, jugglers, balancers and strongmen set to take the stage.

Taking pride in being a production that brilliantly tailors the magic of cirque to the confines of a music hall, Cirque de la Symphonie is comprised of amazing and experienced veterans of cirque programs throughout the world. Each artist’s performance is professionally choreographed to classical masterpieces, weaving the art of circus and music together seamlessly. So sit back, relax, and prepare for an evening (or afternoon) of excitement and awe as you enjoy breathtaking circus feats intertwined with the beautiful music of the MPO.

This extraordinary magical fusion of circus and classical music will be led by Fabio Mechetti and is set to take place on Saturday, 5 September 2015 at 8.30pm and Sunday, 6 September 2015 at 3.00pm.
