PFW SS16 Day 7: Party glamour
Turn it up
Leonard's colourful presentation was backed by a toned down beauty look, but was no less lovely with a pop of white liner and gradient lips for a fresh, summery appeal. Meanwhile, the Martin Grant girl had a no-fuss, down-to-earth look about her, with minimal makeup and centre-parted, seemingly uncombed hair, save for a bold highlight—lightly lined eyes with fake lashes just above the corner of the eyelids.
Sultry Parisian glamour was in full effect at Sonia Rykiel; giving smoky eyes the party spin, models wore sparkling blue midnight eye makeup, paired with soft, brushed waves. At Giambattista Valli, it was "one of absolute clean rawness, or it’s ‘let’s go for colour’” ; the latter resulted in streaks of blue, pink, green, or yellow glitter above the models' eyes. At the end of the day, Saint Laurent showed us you don't have to be queen to wear a tiara—its rock 'n' roll glam collection was topped off with fresh-faced beauty and lowbrow tiaras.
