A range of hairdos from braids to messy bangs took centre stage at Day 3 of NYFW SS16

Although the minimalist-inspired beauty look sustained from Day 2 with organic peachy make up at Altuzarra and Tibi, and neat, symmetrical hair-dos at Lacoste and Dion Lee, messy bangs made a statement with a 60's spin at Rebecca Minkoff and Christian Siriano, while Baja East went with a rock-inspired mullet. Meanwhile, braids trickled into the scene with long pigtail plaits at Mara Hoffman and a french braided updo at Hervé léger.

Aside from the fresh dose of summershades, which took the form of blue and pink eye shadow at Jill Stuart and Monique Lhuillier, the most eye-catching look of the day was by Dion Lee, who took symmetrical beauty to another level with a metal vertical strip down the face, which together with a middle-parting hairdo, infused a sleek, futuristic vibe.
