Shu Uemura collaborates once more with Yazbukey, this time on a kitschy lipstick range
There's plenty to love about the Rouge Unlimited Supreme Matte lipsticks from Shu Uemura — it's got a vibrant finish‚ pigmented payoff‚ along with an amazing melting texture that warrants a spot in your lipstick kit. This season‚ the Japanese beauty brand is giving us a reason to fall in love with its matte lipstick range all over again thanks to a new collaboration with Paris-based jewllery designer Yazbukey.
This marks the second time that Shu Uemura has worked with the designer — the first being a collection of cleansers and makeup products back in 2015. This time around‚ Yazbukey is adding a dash of badas*ery to the 32-shade lipstick range under four main colour categories (nine of which are new shades). Known for her surrealist designs with playful pop references‚ Yazbukey's fun aesthetic has been reimagined through the new design for the lipsticks‚ with her signature edgy lip motifs emblazoned over the transparent cases. New‚ limited-edition shades that we're loving include the Yaz Red under Sexy Red‚ Coral Dance and Brown Is Brown under Lovely Nude‚ Rose Flows and Éclair Pink under Quirky Pink‚ and four new purple-tinged hues under Edgy Berry: Magenta Spell‚ Currant Mood‚ Powder Blue‚ and Grape Jam.
Shu Uemura x Yazbukey is available at all Shu Uemura stores and counters nationwide.
