Celebeauty: MAC Cosmetics' first holiday campaign with Blackpink's Lisa, Gigi Hadid flaunts her post-baby body
This has been a busy week for celebrities—amidst the US election, most of the stars are rushing to get their votes in. Find all the best election-related beauty moments from this week (and a few miscellaneous headlines) below.

Dua Lipa flaunts a super-cute, sleek ponytail on Fallon Tonight
The ‘Levitating’ singer announced that she was appearing on Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon with this Instagram post, and she looks positively iconic. Apart from her perfect highlight and her top-to-toe pink garb (complete with lippy, blush and eyeshadow to match), her sleek and shiny high-pony caught our eye.
We love the ‘60s-inspired bang action she’s got going on, and we think it makes her look almost Barbie-like. What do you think of her look?

Blackpink’s Lisa officially kicks off her MAC partnership with her very first campaign
MAC Cosmetics announced that Blackpink’s Lisa Manoban was their latest brand ambassador less than a month ago (PSST: We had a chance to chat with the superstar and pick her brain on her new gig). A month on, we’re finally seeing the fruits of the collaboration—the brand shared their newest campaign for their holiday collection, Frosted Firework, and Lisa is front-and-centre.
She sports a look we think is best described as ‘sugar-and-spice incarnate’, though we’ll settle for MAC’s description: frosted and fiery. The best part is that you can get Lisa’s look yourself with these two gems from the Frosted Firework collection:

Doja Cat gets too close for comfort
The ‘Juicy’ singer shared this up-close-and-personal snap on her Instagram, which immediately activated our collective fight-or-flight response. However, while the choice of image is a little distressing to look at for too long, we can’t deny that it does give us a good look at the Doja beat.
The green wash of eyeshadow paired with the perky pink lip is a super-cute way to play with contrasting colour. On top of that, the larger than life lashes add a fun, dramatic flair to the whole look. Finish that off with a good baking under the eyes, plenty of orange-toned blush, and a little highlight and you’ve got yourself a look.
In her words: “Boo”.

Gigi Hadid sports a catsuit for Halloween
Friendly reminder that Hadid only just welcomed her baby girl into the world in September. While the notion that women need to bounce back to their pre-pregnancy bodies immediately after giving birth is completely ridiculous, we do acknowledge that Hadid looks incredible.
We’re not the only ones taken aback by the fact that she looks like she never had a baby to begin with—many commenters are equally impressed. One simply said “you just had a baby” and another chimed in with “did she even give birth”, which pretty much sums it up.
Oh, in case you were wondering, Hadid went as Zero Suit Samus from the Super Smash Bros. Brawl game. If you ask us, it's a pretty spot-on cosplay.
This week in US election-related beauty
Florence Pugh’s fresh-faced selfie is a refreshing reminder to exercise your right to vote
Florence Pugh shared a quick selfie of her looking slightly more disheveled than we’re used to (she’s still cute, though), and her ‘I woke up like this’ look is equally fabulous and comforting. Would you believe it? Celebrities—they’re just like you!
From the snap, it looks like Pugh is bare-faced, and her hair (which possibly needs a brush ASAP) is tucked into a t-shirt that reads “Hooray For Voting”. Now, while the snap is most definitely directed at Pugh’s American followers, it’s still a good general reminder for any of you folks of voting age.
Lizzo makes a statement with her election day post
The rapper looked incredible as ever, sporting glowy skin all-over, her signature claws, hip-length tresses, the American flag and not much else. However, more importantly, Lizzo had some poignant words to share on the US election.
“When I think of this country I don’t think of its laws I think of its people. I think about how we were raised to be patriotic of violence, propaganda & war. I think about how this country is owned by the oppressor and how the oppressed are locked in a valley of capitalism,” she begins. “But I also think of the young people who refuse to be spoon fed mistruths. I think of the elders who bucked against hateful prejudices even when it felt impossible.”
She then continues, stating: “Because of you, I’m still hopeful. I believe in a country that teaches the true history so we can better understand where we live and how we can do better. I believe in a country that listens to the cries of the protester and doesn’t politicize death. I believe in restoration of this beautiful land and respecting the communities of people who owned America before colonizers renamed it.”
To finish off her statement, she concludes with: “We the people, ALL the people, deserve it. Today’s the last day to vote. Stay in line, stay determined and thank YOU for voting.”
Victoria Pedretti shows off her perfect skin as she urges people to vote
Pedretti, who is currently the star of two critically-acclaimed Netflix series', You and The Haunting of Bly Manor, has only just begun posting on her Instagram again since she last archived (or deleted—we’re not entirely sure) all her old posts. Starting fresh with a face to match, Pedretti looked radiant as she proudly showed off her ‘I Voted’ sticker.
She flaunted a natural pink wash over her eyes, cheeks and lips, accentuating her face by pulling all her hair back into a neat ponytail. While it could very well be the work of some cream blush and lipstick, we suspect Pedretti is actually makeup-free. Either way, she looks beautiful!
