Gigi Hadid introduces Tommy Hilfiger's new nautical-inspired fragrance
This fall, supermodel and social media star Gigi Hadid sets sail with Tommy Hilfiger by launching the brand's latest eau de parfum, The Girl. Also the global ambassador for womenswear, accessories and fragrance, (her capsule collection with the brand is also slated for a fall 2016 release) Hadid appears in the fragrance's digital campaign, shot by photographer Mikael Jansson in New York City, while having a dose of fun herself.
"The Girl means being true to yourself and having fun while you're at it," says Hadid. "For me, that's appreciating every moment, laughing at myself, and surrounding myself with everything that makes me feel happy."
Naturally, Mr. Hilfiger looked to Hadid for inspiration while creating the new scent. "She is truly the definition of today's 'Tommy Girl'," he says. "Her personality is always bright and optimistic, and her style is confident, effortless and cool. She's redefining what it means to be a model today and connecting with her audience in a really authentic way."
A crisp and fresh scent that brings a unique sense of individuality to mind, The Girl by Tommy Hilfiger opens with notes of green pear, violet leaf and green fig leaves. Its heart of jasmine petals and silky muguet complements the signature finish that is cedarwood and cashmeran—encased in a nautical-inspired bottle that's synonymous with Tommy Hilfiger's signature aesthetic.
The Girl by Tommy Hilfiger Eau de Parfum (RM280 for 100ml) will be available at all Sephora stores (except Robinsons) this August 2016.
