Michelle Obama gives us a sneak peek at her natural texture on her birthday

The former US First Lady shared an au natural selfie to Instagram on her birthday, giving us a rare peek at her natural coils. Her voluminous layers add an excellent bounce and texture to her look that is only better accentuated by her subtle highlights. Further, if anyone knows what Mrs Obama is doing in terms of skincare, let us know—no one has any business looking this flawless at 57 years old!

The best-selling author had a lovely sentiment to share along with her birthday post: "I know this past year has been difficult for us all on so many levels, so I just hope you all are taking care of yourselves and finding joy in the smallest moments. Love you all."

Rina Sawayama proves baby bangs are doable at any hair length

Sawayama shared a snap to Instagram debuting a killer set of faux microbangs. Though her fringe naturally falls around her brow, the singer had them curled up into a truly Bettie Page-approved moment.

TIP: If you're looking to recreate the look, all you'll need is a curling iron and (potentially) a few spare bobby pins!

In addition to the great hair day, the singer also sported some truly fierce makeup—with a purpose! On the fun purple-peach look, Sawayama explains in the caption that she has "been doing lewks of the day cos I realised I hadn’t worn makeup in forever (unless it’s on a shoot) and it helps me get motivated for the day even if I’m not going anywhere!"

Indeed, she has the right idea—if the MCO 2.0 has you down, keeping on top of your grooming routine can do wonders in restoring some long-lost motivation.

Iris Law tries a sherbert mermaid 'do on for size

Face-framing layers, down-to-there lengths, and a pastel orange hue? Count us in(to it). While the look is clearly the work of a wig, we love seeing the model experiment with her look. In fact, this isn't the first time we've seen her sport this orange number—the last time this particular wig made an appearance was as a part of Law's Halloween costume last year. Dressed from head-to-toe in tangerine, the model's costume was—you guessed it—a carrot! 10/10 for effort.

Cardi B's voluminous, hip-length wig has made our day

Speaking of excellent wigs, Cardi B had one particularly good hair day earlier this week. The singer-rapper sported this full-bodied wig in a short clip of her having a boogie on her Instagram. Though her moves were notable, the sheer amount of hair on her head is what really caught our attention.

It seems that we're not the only ones digging the 'do, either—the look has gotten approval from tennis superstar Serena Williams herself, who commented on the post, exclaiming: "That’s my hair! I want that". Same, Serena. Same.

Halsey shows us how to go big at home with her latest makeup tutorial

If you've ever wondered what Halsey's makeup routine looks like, you'll be pleased to learn that she's just posted a full tutorial onto Instagram! In case you missed it, the singer has just launched her own beauty line, About Face Beauty, and the tutorial is a virtual test-run of sorts so you can see exactly how the products work.

The singer created a mismatched eye look, with a different theme for each eye. The products featured in the tutorial include the brand's Shadowstick in the shades Acidic (the slime-green) and Kill The Lights (the matte black), along with the Matte Fluid Eye Paint in Lost Unfound (the navy), White Noise (the white) and Smoke Signal (the dark green), the Matte Fix Lip Pencil in Clockwork, and the Paint-It Matte Lip Color in Nudist Judas.

To top it all off, Halsey also donned an electric-blue wig; a possible courtesy of her trusted hairstylist, Martin-Christopher Harper.

Hunter Schafer's instant manicure is the perfect accesory

Do you remember putting those cone-shaped crisps on the tips of your fingers as a kid and pretending that you were a witch? This 'manicure' is giving us the same vibes. The Euphoria star wore this gold-tipped manicure ring set during her appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, pairing them with matching accents on her dress. It's quick, stunning, and impactful; if things go our way, we'll be seeing much more of this new accessory in the coming months. Love!

Megan Thee Stallion stuns with this blue, geometric lipstick manicure

This week, we were all given a definitive schooling on how to pull off winter colours in more temperate climates. Megan Thee Stallion shared a snap of her blue-hued, lipstick-shaped manicure on Instagram in the classic Thee Stallion fashion (hands on bum). The geometric pattern on the singer's set is a fabulous way to add intrigue to a monochrome nail look—très chic!
