The wet hair look isn't only reserved for the ladies

Move over, man buns, braids, and undercuts. The hair trend from Spring 2017 runways has spoken, and we're pretty excited over the fact that the new mussed hairdo with a glossy, wet effect is actually really easy to achieve. Let's face it, we're all about looking effortless with half the effort—as opposed to working on your hair for an hour to get the same effect.

The beauty about the wet hair look is that it caters to most hair lengths and textures. Whether you've got unruly curls that you've always wanted to tame or shoulder length stick-straight locks, the right products to style your hair can take you a long way. For those with shorter wavy hair, take on a high-shine curly 'do spotted at Craig Green and Fendi. If your hair texture is on the thinner side, use a lighter- to medium-hold lotion to give your hair added definition and shine. Medium-length hair counterparts can try out slicked-back hairdos, either tousled or carefully combed (Dior Homme, Tiger of Sweden, and Topman Design) for a retro, throwback vibe to the '90s—use a styling wax with a strong, pliable hold and medium shine for a similar effect.
