No matter your style, confidently play up your looks and accentuate your lips like one of our Friends of Buro, Lee Ming

With her confident smile and good-natured spirit, Lee Ming is a sight to behold with her signature vintage look, perfectly coiffed hair and red stained lips. The 29-year-old has caught our attention with her standout elegant classic style and penchant for the fashion of the 40s, 50s and 60s.

While she's normally seen in red and nude lipsticks, Buro 24/7 recently threw her a challenge in some striking colours from the new Rouge Dior.

It is a collection that speaks to her heart; the iconic Rouge Dior lipstick is a classic that was first launched in 1953 and has since become a favourite among many women to reinvent and complement their look. This year, the entire range gets reformulated and with some pretty new edgy matte shades to boot.

It's apparent Lee Ming, or Ming as she's affectionately known, is most excited when she's able to experiment with her appearance. Just like how her fashion persona changes with every swing dress, Ming goes from playful and flirty to sultry and smouldering with the different Rouge Dior lipstick she tries on. It's a versatility that hits all the right spots.

Ming puckered up to three lipsticks from the Satin finish range and three from the Matte finish. The former gives off a subtle hint of gloss while the latter offers a velvety touch, with both promising a comfortable, 16-hour lasting wear.

From sweet pinks to classic reds and bold burgundies, the Rouge Dior lipsticks are formulated with mango butter and Aroleat Samphira so lips stay nourished and hydrated.

For every look, Ming spends anywhere from one to two hours just to get her hair and makeup on point. Her love for the classics is palpable. A key factor to nailing her look is the lips. A scan through her Instagram and you'll find her pouting her flawlessly lined lips.

"I feel good when I'm looking my best," she quips. "Now that I know other colours actually suit me as well, I think I will be game to try bolder lipsticks with my vintage look. I do love the Rouge Dior matte range!" She gives us her biggest smile.

Priced at RM125, the new Rouge Dior lipstick collection is now in store.
