The result of a remarkable collaboration between Jaeger-LeCoultre and its Dutch partner Gassan, the Reverso à Eclipse features Van Gogh’s iconic Sunflowers on the dial, in homage to the brilliant post-impressionist painter. A masterpiece of craftsmanship, art, and heritage, the highlight of this unique timepiece lies in the dial; enamellers reproduced the famous Sunflowers in an exquisite miniature enamel painting, which gradually unveils itself as the shutters open—an absolutely stunning feature.
Encased in a beautiful rose gold body, the Reverso à Eclipse is equipped with the in-house Jaeger-Le-Coultre Calibre 849. An innovative shutter system consisting of a rowel, miniature chain, and endless screw made it possible to mask and reveal the enamel miniature. Fully crafted, assembled, and decorated by hand, this limited edition watch can be admired and bought at the Van Gogh Museum only.
