The Conquest Jumping is a profound testament of Longine’s long history in sports timing and more than a century of involvement in equestrian sport. Longines first timed a show-jumping competition in 1912, and has since been associated with some of the most prestigious equestrian events all over the world. The esteemed watchmaker’s enduring passion in the sport led to the formalisation of a partnership with the International Equestrian Federation (FEI), the governing body for all equestrian sports.
A sophisticated, elegant creation, this chronograph bears a circular steel case with a diameter of 41mm, while the back features an engraving of a horse jumping an obstacle. The sturdy all-steel construction is complemented by either a black or silver dial, protected by sapphire glass.
Developed in collaboration with FEI, the latest addition to the Conquest line is designed for all those directly involved in Jumping, as well as enthusiasts of the discipline. Fitted with the cutting-edge new Longines movement, the L441, this watch can be used to time Jumping competitions to 1/100th of a second while taking into account the many regulations that govern the sport. It is able to convert penalties into time, or add time penalties for exceeding the time allowed, depending on whether the competition is run under Table A or C—the first of its kind in the world.
