Hublot counts down to the 2018 FIFA World Cup with a new store in Moscow

And to celebrate the occasion, football legend Pelé (pictured above) himself was in attendance at the ribbon-cutting ceremony along with Ricardo Guadalupe, CEO of Hublot, and Phillippe Le Floc’h, CCO of FIFA. The new store is located in the heart of Moscow, within the historic Metropol building.

The momentous occasion cements Hublot’s special relationship with football—the Swiss watchmaker will have the honour of timekeeping the FIFA World Cup for the third time in a row next year. Hublot is also the official timekeeper of the 2017 Confederations Cup, which is currently underway in Russia. The brand pays tribute to the eight nations that are competing in the ongoing tournament by presenting a series of interchangeable straps in the colours of the participating countries on the emblematic Big Bang Unico watch.
