Set on the sprawling grounds of Kuala Lumpur's Carcosa Seri Negara, the Valley of the Deer Kuala Lumpur saw almost 3,000 guests present at the four-day event at the end of May. Under the guidance of Ian Millar, Glenfiddich Global Brand Ambassador, and Regional Brand Ambassador Matthew Fergusson-Stewart, guests were taken through the key elements of the tour, showcasing the making of a single cask of Glenfiddich single malt whisky.

Highlights of the tour include an introductory look at the whisky category presented via motion-sensor multimedia displays, the whisky making process including malting, mashing, fermentation, distillation and maturation using replicas and technology in the Process Room, live coopering of barrels by Ian McDonald, Head Cooper of Glenfiddich, and an interactive whisky tasting using cutting-edge technology so guests can control and customise their tasting experience via touch screen tables.
