7 Things you can do this weekend: 9—10 December 2017

1. Tiffin Food Court at Sungai Way Free Trade Industrial Zone, 5pm until late, 8 – 24 Dec (Fri-Sun only)

You might have read a little about it in our interview with Pop Up Dining KL, one of the collaborators of the event, but Tiffin Food Court is essentially a unique spin on the quintessential Malaysian food court. A party atmosphere is injected into it. Over 30 vendors and partners are brought in to serve their individual slices of gastronomical food (and drinks) fare. An assortment of arcade games and art installations will be set up. Let’s just say it’s one event you’ll be spending some time at.

Admission is free. For more info, visit their website.

Updated as of 4:20pm, 8 Dec: Tiffin Food Court has been postponed until further notice. The organisers have released a statement following this news:

“Freeform’s decision was made in an effort to comply with newly raised queries by the authorities about operating Tiffin’s 3-weekend food court in the zone. In response to this, the team is working very closely with relevant government bodies, to reach a mutually beneficial arrangement that will bring Tiffin’s celebration of food and more to life.”

“Customers who have purchased pre-loaded wrist tags via Eventbrite may opt to hold onto their tickets until further announcements or ask for a refund. For refunds, write to [email protected] and present proof of purchase and contact details.”
