1. Hanami Market at Loushang Bar & Cafe, Damansara Utama, 10am – 8pm, 7 – 9 April

Can’t make it to Japan for the sakura season? Drop by this flea market instead where they’ll be celebrating it with exciting flavours of spring with a hint of Japan culture (for example, sakura-inspired cocktails), various Japanese crafts and items.

2. A Place Where Preloved is Reloved: A thrift market by APW at APW Bangsar, 12pm – 6pm, 8 April

From clothes to accessories to household goods, there’ll be a wide variety of vendors selling their preloved items. Oh, and there’ll be food trucks too!

3. Creative Mornings KL with food stylist Trisha Toh at Uppercase Bangsar, 10am – 12pm, 8 April

Trisha Toh is a pro at making food even better than it already is. A prop and food stylist, her Instagram boasts over 100k followers and it’s not hard to see why. Join the next session of Creative Mornings KL where she will be giving a talk to share more about her work.

4. Tearista: Tea Brewing Skills workshop at Barista Guild Asia, Ara Damansara, 9am – 1pm, 8 April

Learn the proper art of preparing tea and the its different types and flavours in this foundation course.

5. Candlelight Picnic at Taman Jaya, 5.30pm – 8pm, 8 April

The KL Japanese-English Language Exchange is organising a small get-together where they’ll try their best to replicate yozakura (nighttime sakura viewing) with candles at the park. You’ll get to make new friends enjoy an evening of fun conversational exchange in Japanese and English.

6. Battle Blooms: Album Release Show at Playspace LIVE, Damansara Perdana, 9pm – 12am, 12 April

Support local talents as indie band Battle Bloom is doing a special show to celebrate the release of their debut album ‘Maps and Diagrams’.
