1. National Geographic Channel's Uncover Malaysia exhibition at Sunway Pyramid, till 22 September 2016

Get to know a deeper side of Malaysia in the National Geographic Channel's campaign aptly titled Uncover Malaysia. While the channel will be airing 11 documentaries on Malaysian stories, the campaign is also extending itself to an exhibit consisting of 12 doors that use interactive storytelling to give the public a glimpse of what each unique story has to offer. A story that, if not told now, might perish with time. 

The Uncover Malaysia exhibition will be held at the Main Concourse of Sunway Pyramid.

 

2. #EhWauBulan Art Showcase at White Box, Publika, 10am - 5pm, till 7 September 2016

Celebrate 59 years of Merdeka with 59 selected inspiring artworks from our homegrown artists who come from all walks of life be it students, practicing contemporary and street artists, or retired professionals with a penchant for art. 

 

3. Learn how to make mooncakes at this workshop by ILOHA Culture Centre, Bangsar, 10.30am - 1.30pm, 3 September

The course will show you how to make spiral mooncakes (with egg yolk) and mini snow skin mooncakes (with yam, lotus and pandan) to bring home. From making the skin and the fillings to wrapping the yolks to kneading the colours into the skin, it'll be an eye-opening experience.

4. Creative Mornings KL featuring Alena Murang at Uppercase Bangsar, 10am - 12pm, 3 September

Every month, Creative Mornings KL will bring in one inspiring artist to share their creative journey to kickstart your Saturday morning with new ideas, cold-pressed juices and breakfast treats. For this weekend, the spotlight will be on Alena Murang, an artist, musician and an advocate of Sarawakian culture who presents these traditional arts to the modern public in various unique methods.

Admission to the session is free but you're advised to bring your own reusable cup or tumbler as they promote 'Zero Waste'. For more information, visit the event page.

6. Dream Dance Workshop at Xero Gravity Studio, Petaling Jaya, 6pm - 7.15pm, 4 September

Looking for something physical yet therapeutic to do? It's not sunset yoga this time but a dance workshop where you'll be taught on how to let loose through fluid movements
