1. Have a taste of 1-Michelin star Chef Mario Cittadini of Italy’s Il Postale’s epicurean flair at Mandarin Grill @ Mandarin Oriental KL, lunch and dinner, 11 – 14 Jan

It’s not every day that a Michelin star chef is in town and ready to whip up his idea of a unique Italian epicurean journey. Chef Mario Cittadini’s specialty mirrors his cooking values, and that is ingredients and diners always come first, then only the chef and culinary techniques. He is able to turn ordinary produce into plates of decadent cuisine, and expect no complicated seasonings – every flavour is naturally produced from the fresh, high quality ingredients that are used. 

Guests have a choice of the 3-, 4- and 5-course menu for lunch or 5- and 7-course menu for dinner. A la carte dishes are also available. The menus are priced between a range of RM148 nett per person to RM388 nett per person.

2. Catch international DJ SoSupersam at Skullduggery, Plaza Damansara, 10am – 3am, 14 Jan

Samantha Duenas, or more affectionately known as DJ SoSuperSam, is one of the hottest DJs in the United States and she’s coming to town as part of her Asia tour, spinning exclusively at Skullduggery.

3. Cafe Malaysia 2017 at MATRADE Exhibition and Convention Centre, 9am – 6pm, 12 – 14 Jan

The largest gathering of the coffee and tea industries in Malaysia is back for a third edition that will be teeming with networking opportunities for the trade and full-filled activities for the public. From exclusive workshops to classes to demonstrations of the latest technologies, trends and techniques, there will be much to see and learn.

4. Creative Mornings KL with Tunku Halim at Uppercase Bangsar, 10am – 12pm, 14 Jan

Gather under one roof for inspiring conversations with Malaysia’s prince of darkness Tunku Halim, a Malaysian novelist, non-fiction writer, academic and lawyer whose genre of fiction works usually revolves around dark fantasy and horror.
