Go further in your electric cars: Tesla and Airbnb partners up

Tesla have invested millions of dollars to allow their luxury electric cars to travel further by installing electric car charging stations across the globe and now they are making it available to Airbnb homes around the world for free. However, interested Airbnb hosts will have to bear the cost of installation on their own and have a few criteria to check off before they can be eligible to install the charging stations in their homes. To qualify, hosts must list their entire home for rent, have more than five bookings, and have a 4+ star rating. 

Although Tesla has will select at least 100 homes to install their chargers, currently there are only 17 being listed on Airbnb. With the introduction of the new Tesla Model X, a stunning electric SUV that impressed even its skeptics, Tesla is bringing us with them on their journey towards a more eco-friendly future and we hope to see charging stations in more interesting locations soon.
