BMW Malaysia introduces two new M Sport models

Both the 1 Series and 3 Series have a new sibling in its sub-family as BMW Group Malaysia announced the introduction of two new M Sport models: the BMW 118i M Sport and BMW 330e M Sport. Consider them an upgraded option if you love a car with a more sporty finish that’s complemented with a boost in power.

On the outside, both vehicles are equipped with the M Aerodynamics and M Sport Suspension package as well as 18-inch M light alloy wheels. To finish off its aggressive stance, the cars feature the BMW double kidney grille with chrome frame—where the slates are in high-gloss black—and the BMW Individual high-gloss Shadow Line. Additionally, they are made available with LED light units and Comfort Access systems.

As for the fancy tech parts, the two variants come standard with the Navigation System Professional, featuring a high-resolution 3D display on an 8.8-inch display monitor, and the BMW ConnectedDrive functionalities. The highlights here are the Intelligent Emergency Call (it can automatically and immediately contact the BMW Call Centre for help in the event of an accident/emergency), Teleservices (it’ll transmit service-relevant data from the car to the BMW Service Centre when it’s due for service), Concierge Services (consider it the car’s Google to finding the nearest service you need, be it an ATM, restaurant or hotel) and Remote Services.

So what’s different between the two? The BMW 330e M Sport keeps its additional functionalities such as the Rear View Camera function and Electric Glass Roof. It is also fitted with the Park Assist function to allow self-parking, and eDrive Services where the user can interact with the vehicle via the new BMW Connected App and control functions such as the lights, horn and fuel level status.
