Bounty, The KL Journal
A casual dining gem in the heart of KL, Bounty features a flicker of oriental flavours in the midst of a contemporary European menu. Framed by floor-to-ceiling glass windows, the interior is tastefully designed with art deco furnishings, an open kitchen area as well as a quiant al fresco space. If you’re a fan of perfectly poached eggs, this is the place to be—the Egg vs Truffle dish and French ‘5’ Onion Soup will leave you craving for more.

2OX, The Row KL
The newest “it” place to hangout in town, newly revitalised The Row comprises of independent local shops, cafés, bars, restaurants and office suites. One of the more notable new eats, 2OX (pronounced “two ox”) is a chic French bistro and bar serving up classic French favourites and an exquisite selection of wines. Try the Chef’s mum’s hearty coq au vin for a hearty dish of chicken braised in red wine, and finish on a sweet note with a homemade ice cream and sorbet.

Bacchus, The Row KL
If a cosy wine bar is your jam, Bacchus—which means the Greek god of wine—will be right up your alley. Specialising in tapas and wine, it will have you revelling at the likes of the poached egg cushioned with shaved cheese and pesto, braised smoked pork belly, and salmon sashimi with wasabi mayo. And with the establishment being spearheaded by Chef Angie Hiew of Flamenco and Sentidos Tapas fame, the restaurants that pioneered the Spanish fine dining scene in KL, you can definitely expect creations of quality dispensed here.

Mario & Luigi, Lorong Kurau
A refined taste of Italy is what you will find at Mario & Luigi, an Italian fine dining restaurant situated in the unassuming enclave of Lorong Kurau, Bangsar.
