Don't get us wrong though; we still love the ol' Malaysian ais kacang but there's just something about the popular Korean shaved ice dessert. Whether it's the soft as snow ice or the larger variety of toppings, we've rounded up some of our fave places to get your bingsu fix for your next cheat day

BingSu Cafe, Damansara Uptown

We just can't get over how finely shaved their bingsu's' ice is - it practically melts the minute you eat a spoonful - and it goes so refreshingly well with their snow milk. If you're a fan of the King of Fruits, the Durian Mango Bingsu is a must-try!

Hanbing Korean Dessert Cafe, Bangsar

If you absolutely love your bingsu to come with generous toppings, this is the place to go. Our pick? Either the Green Tea Snow Ice or the Mango Snow Ice. Judging by the crowd, the cafe is evidently a popular hangout spot at night and we'd recommend it too as they offer sets that include both bingsu and Korean street food.

Caffebene

What's a mini bingsu list without one of Korea's popular cafes? Unlike the two places mentioned above, Caffebene serves their shaved ice dessert in either a wide medium-sized glass that's perfect to share for two or in a bigger cup for a larger party.
