Support Team Buro as we run for charity at SCKLM 2018

A running event is an inspiring occasion that warrants much excitement and encouragement. Case in point—the Standard Chartered KL Marathon, better known as SCKLM, one of the most anticipated events on the local running calendar, which saw all entry slots filled up in under 10 hours of registration opening.

At Buro 24/7 Malaysia, we too look forward to the annual race for the spirit of community and camaraderie among runners and supporters—the energy is palpable. We’re constantly inspired by runners pushing their limits and running their hardest, whether for themselves or for the people who motivate them.

For the 10th edition of SCKLM this year, team Buro 24/7 Malaysia intends to make it count—come race day on 8 April, we will be running for a reason. We’ve pledged our support to the Dignity for Children Foundation to help raise funds for underprivileged kids. The non-profit organisation focuses on providing quality learning to children from preschool to secondary school, as it believes that education is the key to break the cycle of poverty.

Over the next few weeks, we are embarking on a journey to help improve the lives of these kids and we would like to invite you to support our cause. Editor-in-Chief, Cai Mei, will be attemping her fastest PB in the half marathon category, while Deputy Editor, Gwen Ong, Project Manager, Angel Yau, and Art Director, Yi Suen, will be running in the 10km Speed category.
