Watch: Willow Smith explores the best of Tokyo, armed with Chanel

After the four-part ad campaign featuring a lineup of Chanel ambassadors, this year’s new It-bag, the Chanel Gabrielle sees yet another video campaign series that will roll out by the end of June. For the first instalment of the new campaign, 16-year old multifaceted artist and celebrity offspring Willow Smith undertakes her role as the wanderluster who soaks up the culture-rich sights and sounds of Tokyo, Japan. She is armed with not one, but five different Chanel Gabrielle bags in black, ecru, and grey tweed quilted suede, and metallic gold leather as she strolls through the hustle and bustle of the capital—bringing new meaning to the phrase ‘traveling in style’.

This isn’t the first time that Smith is featured in Chanel’s ad campaigns. Her debut for the brand was for the Autumn/Winter 2016 eyewear campaign, and she is also a #FROW regular at all of the maison’s runway shows. Watch how the young celeb takes on the Jinbōchō, Yūrakuchō and Shinjuku neighbourhoods as well as Nezu-jinja, the Shinto shrine—whilst decked in sequined and embroidered Chanel pieces:
