What went down at Pavilion Pitstop 2016

The 2nd of October marked the final day of Pavilion Pitstop 2016: Fashion Report. Adding to their track record of successful events, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur wrapped their annual fashion tie-in with the Formula 1 Petronas Malaysia Grand Prix after five days of special presentations and showcases.

The line-up was nothing short of a victory lap with the excellent turn out that welcomed a slew of industry insiders and brand supporters, alongside local and international celebrities.

Hosted by Sarah Lian, ‘An Evening with Hugo Boss‘ got the engines off to a flying start as crowds gathered to catch a glimpse (and catch the eye) of their special guest, Mercedes AMG Petronas team driver, Lewis Hamilton. Following that, Rimowa unveiled the product of their creative collaboration with lauded local designers, Jonathan Liang, Sereni and Shentel, Izrin Ismail and Khoon Hooi.

A front row of industry darlings were invited to view the Autumn Winter 2016 collection by Blackbarrett, and the next day, tailored creations by Lord’s 1974 exemplified Malaysian talent in menswear. Performances by Dennis Lau on violin, and singer, Alif Sleeq revved the crowds up before the Lord’s show while Parkson presented Malaysian girl group, De Fam to open the night. Finally, the Parkson Fashion Spotlight shows saved their guests some ‘Seoul searching’ with highlights of well-loved K-fashion labels, Spao, Mixxo, and Who.A.U.
