Opening Ceremony x UMD: Taking customisation to the next level

Right off the frenzy of Kenzo x H&M, Humberto Leon and Carol Lim—also founders of Opening Ceremony—launch another collection to covet: the Opening Ceremony x UMD customisable capsule collection. Available exclusively on Farfetch, the collaboration brings together Opening Ceremony’s modern, creative design strength with Unmade’s unique technology in allowing customers to create their very own one-of-a-kind designer piece.

The Opening Ceremony x UMD collection allows you to customise and create your unique version of classic OC knit styles with a click of the mouse. Items available in the capsule collection include unisex crew sweaters, beanies, women’s elliptical sweater and shrugs. Move around trompe l’oeil of traditional knit motifs as desired, or personalise sweaters by adding your own initials to them—the initials will appear in original, varsity-inspired monogram alphabets designed by Opening Ceremony.

“We are huge supporters of companies that use technologies in interesting ways to elevate fashion, and when we learnt about Unmade, we felt an instant connection,” said Humberto Leon and Carol Lim. “We love what they do and are excited to collaborate with these signature OC designs.”
