#KLFW2015 Highlights of Day 1

As Day 1 of Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week 2015 came and went, we’ve had a healthy dose of geometrics and prints, dreamy silhouettes and a dash of black and white here and there. Here are the highlights you should know from Wednesday, along with what we personally love from the runway:

1. Cassey Gan never disappoints with her wearable pieces of art—culottes, dresses and tops in brilliantly-hued geometric lines and curves of yellow, grey and mint green on midnight blue made most of her collection.

2. We’re glad that MimpiKita didn’t steer far from their signature style: dreamy and ultra feminine sheer silhouettes in muted shades of off-white and orange pinks with finely-detailed appliqués.

3. Afiq M’s rockstar-inspired pantsuit proves that androgyny still is and always will be trending.

4. A cocktail event at our digital lounge in the evening saw guests including Friends of Buro 24/7 Malaysia, fashion designers from KLFW and brand managers from luxury labels sipping bubbly while getting their hair and makeup retouched, thanks to L’Oreal Hair and Bobbi Brown Malaysia; even better yet, snap a GIF image with our own photobooth at the lounge—we promise that it’s plenty of fun!
