First look: Kendall Jenner’s print debut as Longchamp brand ambassador

Following her starring role in The Encounter (the mini fashion film by Longchamp that celebrated her announcement as the brand’s new ambassador), Kendall Jenner is making her print debut as the official new face in the Autumn/Winter 2018 ad campaign.

Depicted as a “21st-century Amazon”, the series of photographs were shot by David Sims and styled by Sara Moonves. Her dark hair (is natural roots making a comeback?) in a messy, tousled lob parted in the middle paired with Longchamp’s latest offerings for Autumn/Winter 2018. Kendall stands tall and powerful in an orange chevron lamb and rabbit-fur coat, dark and mysterious in a fluid velvet tuxedo and irreverent in a leather and shearling coat.  The three double-page spreads sees two visuals of Kendall, a portrait and a silhouette strategically positioned against each other for vivid juxtaposition. In each, she wears a variation on the season’s star Amazone bag in leather, suede and snakeskin. Dibs on the mini leather crossbody and knee high boots.
