Diversity seems to play an important role at H&M. After releasing the Kenzo x H&M lookbook featuring various ambassadors, the Swedish high-street giant recently announced that seven diverse personalities would appear in the advertising campaign. Shot by iconic photographer Jean-Paul Goude for the collaborative collection, the campaign will star Iman, Rosario Dawson, Chance The Rapper, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Chloë Sevigny, Suboi and Xiuhtezcatl Martinez.


This is not the first collaboration between Kenzo creative directors, Humberto Leon and Carol and Goude. Previously, the renowned photographer has shot the Fall 2012 and Spring 2013 campaigns for Kenzo."We love to work with our idols, and Jean-Paul Goude is a true icon. His images for KENZO x H&M are incredible, and capture the personality, positivity and freedom of the collection," says Lim and Leon.


A regular at the duo's shows in Paris, the French photographer says, "Working with H&M and Carol and Humberto on the KENZO x H&M campaign is a real adventure. I love the attitude that they have brought to the collection, and their youth, energy, fun and style." Goude is the creative genius responsible for some of the most influential images, including his work for Grace Jones in the '70s and '80s, and most recently, Kim Kardashian's "Break The Internet" cover for Paper magazine.


The anticipation for the new campaign - only to be released on October 17 - is real. In the meantime, check out the interview with Goude in the video below: 

The campaign will debut on October 17, before the collection arrives in over 250 selected H&M stores worldwide, as well as online on November 3.
