We've been crushing hard on Kris Van Assche's SS16 collection for Dior Homme since the show in June last year. Presented amongst 2,000 flowering Fée des neiges rosebushes, Van Assche subverted the traditions of menswear with a blend of sportswear and military influences. Since then, we've poured our collective prayers and goodwill towards the hope of a Dior Homme store in Malaysia and though 2016 may have begun with a rocky start, the fashion gods have smiled upon us by bestowing us with a late (or very early) Christmas gift.

The multi-dimensional retail space will feature a selection of ready-to-wear, footwear, leather goods, eyewear and jewellery and in celebration of this momentous occassion, a limited edition clutch numbered from 1 to 10.

Only ten of these limited edition clutches will be available

We're most excited about Van Assche's jacket offerings for spring, particularly a rendition of the MA-1 bomber in navy with white embroidered roses on the sleeve, and a rather spectacular flight jacket in bright orange. It's what Dior Homme's creative director is so wonderful at: taking well-known classics and giving it a contemporary twist. "In this collection many of the codes are traditional, but it is the accumulation of those traditions that makes it both extreme and essentially about contemporary elegance," says Van Assche of the collection. But don't just take it from us—listen to what he has to say about SS16 here:
