Burberry’s new campaign illustrates Brit chic to a whole new level

What do you get when you combine the best of art with deep-rooted British fashion heritage? Burberry answers this question with pizzazz in its latest campaign that combines original illustrations by British artist Luke Edward Hall with portraits by iconic photographer Mario Testino. Starring in this campaign is Burberry regular and model Edie Campbell and actor Callum Turner decked in the brand’s new womenswear and menswear collections for their second Burberry campaign together. Fun fact: This campaign marks the 10th year since Campbell made her debut for Burberry.

Hall has exclusively created a series of original portraits and still life illustrations for this campaign using a mixture of materials including watercolour, chalk, oil pastels and acrylic. The first time that a Burberry campaign will combine painting with photography, the backdrop of some images are actually exclusively hand-painted by Hall. Find Campbell and Turner clad in apparel from the brand’s new single ‘Burberry’ label which references motifs and textures inspired by British creatives, along with chic outerwear including military coats and the iconic Heritage Trench Coat. We’ve got our eyes on The Patchwork bag that actually sold out within a week on its Runway Made to Order allocation—no two styles of this bag are the same as it is made from a mixture of fabrications, from the classic House check to glossy snakeskin and soft English suede. The Patchwork bags and selected pieces in the campaign are now available to purchase on Burberry.com.
