Celebrities came out to play this past weekend in their interpetation of the spookiest (and sexiest, for some) Halloween costumes. Some took it upon themselves to rep major spine-chilling vibes with their makeup and costumes, including Victoria’s Secret model Sara Sampaio’s botched surgery patient look and actress Michelle Trachtenberg’s creepy take on Persephone, the queen of the underworld; while others looked to the past decades for reference, including the Gerber family’s ’70s-slinging costumes (#familygoals) that we wished we looked as good in.
On the other hand, there were some who took the occasion very seriously with not one, but three costume changes—Kim Kardashian channeled three iconic songstresses this Halloween: Her favourite diva, Cher, with her pal Jonathan Cheba who went as Sonny; Madonna, with sister Kourtney as Michael Jackson; and the late R&B singer (RIP) Aaliyah—a look that incited some controversy.
