Former One Direction-er and Pillowtalk singer Zayn Malik isn’t slowing down with his foray into the high fashion. The British singer-songwriter has recently collaborated with Italian shoe maestro Giuseppe Zanotti on a limited edition range of men’s shoes, called Giuseppe for Zayn. This isn’t the first time that Malik is dabbling in fashion—last October, it was announced that he will be co-designing a men and women’s capsule collection for Versus, to be out this May.
“I really believe style comes from taking chances, being bold and not being afraid to express yourself,” said Malik. “I feel Giuseppe does that with his collections—and I try to do that with my music. So when the idea came up to collaborate, I thought ‘yes, this would work.’”

The Giuseppe for Zayn range features four shoes—two sneakers and two boots in neutral-toned suedes and supple leathers. Details of the footwear lineup include thicker soles and chunky zips (a detail that the singer usually favours to complement his edgy, rocker-esque style), along with an embossed logo plate of the collection’s name on each shoe. Another noticeable detail is one of the shoe’s names—”Zigi”, a tribute to his model girlfriend Gigi Hadid, perhaps? The Giuseppe for Zayn will be available online and in stores this January 28.
