Made for the urban dandy: Longchamp Men’s Fall 2017

This autumn, the Longchamp man is all about an effortless swagger dressed in laid-back urban pieces. Made to take the discerning gent from work to leisure, the bags from the Fall 2017 collection are designed with transitionary style and immaculate detailing in mind. Split into three lines, Longchamp conveys a different message with each whilst keeping on track with sumptuous material, covetable colours and sleek structures.

A patchwork of leather in varied textures and colours collide in creative linear assemblages to form the ‘Gary’ collection. Deep azure and navy are mellowed out by a stormy grey and topped off with elegant gunmetal hardware and a discreet hot stamped logo.

The ‘Ruban’ evokes a modern incarnation of the Parisian dandy. Contrasting piping details bring out the characteristic panelling that defines the line. Rendered in pilot blue or lacquer red leather, the man who carries a Ruban is unabashedly sure of his choices.

Stepping up to a different level of boldness, ‘Cross-Line’ is all about graphic expression. Designed to appeal to vibrant urbanites, an abstract clash of sharp shapes and lines are bound to stand out in a crowd. Smooth nylon is the fabric of choice for these bags but the addition of supple leather parts elevate the line from mere sportiness.
