Watch: Dior Homme’s Creative Director Kris Van Assche on the inspo behind Winter 2018

For his 10^th year anniversary at Dior Homme, Creative Director Kris Van Assche took inspiration from Monsieur Dior’s “defining New Look of 1947 for women”, with waist-accentuating silhouettes being a mainstay of the Winter 2018 collection. Nipped waist and white piping that cut into the sides of tailored blazers highlight the shoulder’s broadness and the length of the legs, but black suits aside, Kris also injected some fun into the collection in the form of ’90s references such as tribal tattoo motifs, flared jeans and bandanna scarves.
