NYFW SS16: BCBGMaxAzria

The warmer months didn’t deter creative director Lubov Azria from playing with layering pieces, bucket hats and keeping one’s calves warm. Azria held strongly to BCBGMaxAzria’s signature luxe-bohemian aesthetic but incorporated SoCal streetwear silhouettes with prints worthy of the skate and surf culture.

Find embroidered peasant tops, baja ponchos layered over long-sleeved tops, and loose lapel palm leaf-printed coats all in summery hues—from pale peach to sky blue, and the occasional myriad of bright floral colours.

Trend-wise, fringed bags are still a vital accessory on the runway, along with wide-legged trousers and sheer elements (as Spring/Summer seasons always call for something diaphanous).
