LFW SS16: Jonathan Saunders

The few starting looks of Jonathan Saunders S/S’16 spotted similar geometric, psychedelic prints from his previous A/W’15 collection, but the entirety of it had major elements of bright colour-block and leaf printed paneling while offering effortless wearability.

Predominant colours from the collection were bright red and yellow, although most of it had dizzying variations of colour combos that actually did work—a jade green kimono jacket with orange trimmings in particular that we thought was exquisite. Silhouettes were kept sensible yet modern: kimono jackets and dresses, slip dresses with asymmetrical hemlines, skirts with multiple slits, and a few one-shouldered options.
